Flower, Cactus & Sculpture Gardens

The Sculpture Garden comprises works in stone, metal, calcite, and other mediums including cement. Most of the stone works on display are in traditional style. For example, the Shiva Lingam is about 1000 years old. On the other hand, the natural calcite and quartz pieces amidst our landscaped garden are easily one million years old, if not more.

However, the basic concept of creating the Sculpture Garden is altogether different. Its focus is on modern and futuristic art by leading nepali artists, many of whom have chosen metal as the main medium. Several examples of their “avant-garde” art are displayed in the photographs below:
