To get to Chobhar is easy! Located in Kathmandu Valley, only 8kms south-west from the capital, it only takes 20 minutes by car. Ask your driver to take the road that leads to Pharping and Dakshinkali. After Balku junction off the Ring Road, follow the road well past Tribubhan University campus gate. As you continue along that road, be on the lookout for three successive road signs painted green and white all directing you to “Chobhar Resort/Hotel/Café/restaurant”.

After passing a beautiful pine forest – you will see a large road sign announcing “CHOBHAR VILLAGE” At that point, leave the main road, and make a RIGHT TURN to take a smaller road that goes up-hill, all the way (1km) to Village Center. Chobhar Village is home to the well-known 15th Century Adinath Temple and Chobhar Buddhist Monastery. Our restaurant, which is part of the Resort-Hotel complex, is located exactly at mid-point between Temple and Monastery.
